The Roman Rite according to the
usage of Sarum, also known with minor modifications as the
Rite of Braga,
used primarily in American and Serbian parishes of the Milan Synod, the
Russian Church Abroad as well as a few scattered Ukrainian
parishes. The ritual was codified in the eighth through
eleventh century, and was occasionally used in Roman Catholic and
Anglican parishes since the time of the schism.
The Ambrosian Rite,
or the Rite of Mediolanum, used occasionally by the Synod of Milan in
Italy, as well as having been recently used in Russia by the Moscow
Patriarchate. The ritual was codified in the time of St
Ambrose and enjoyed local use among Roman Catholic parishes in Milan.
The Mozarabic Rite,
or the Hispanic Rite of Sts Isidore and Leander of Seville, was
codified in the sixth through eighth centuries and is currently used by
parishes of the Milan Synod in Spain. The text was referenced during
reconstructions of the Western Orthodox rites in the 19th century. It
currently enjoys a favored status in Spain among Roman Catholics and an
increasing use in Latin America after being virtually wiped out after
the schism of the West from Orthodoxy.
The Reconstructed Gallican Liturgy,
or use of the Orthodox-Catholic Church of France, was a temporary
reconstruction of the ancient Gallican Liturgy blessed by St John of
Shanghai and San Fransisco (+1966), who allowed the usage of this
ancient ritual to be restored to its dignity in France, and is used by
the Church of France, which has fragmented into differing bodies.
However, as it was a reconstruction, it was only temporarily allowed
until the ancient texts used by the French were translated.
Compare
the above with what the so-called "Antiochian Western-Rite Vicariate"
has offered the people: two barely altered liturgies from modern Rome
and modern Canterbury, with Saints' names stuck on them, so the people
would feel "comfortable". The liturgies of Saints have been
replaced with the liturgies of Roman Catholics and Anglicans, dressed
up as "Orthodox liturgies" by liturgical committees, some of whom were themselves neophytes in Orthodoxy. Even more
insulting, they refer to the liturgies above, compiled by Saints and given to us
by the Apostles, as the "writings of vagantes".
The FRAUD is obvious, and this is why the only way they grow is to let
disaffected Anglicans join their "Vicariate" without really converting
to Orthodoxy. People looking for Orthodoxy know the
difference.
